Comments: This course is being taught at the Mount Vernon campus. This course is intended for WLP Globalization, Economics, & Business cohort only. Instructor approval is required to register. To be able to register for ECON 1011 students must have a minimum score of 61 on the ALEKS math placement exam by August 16 2024 or have taken and passed ECON 1001 with a minimum grade of B-. Students who started at the university Fall 2023 or later need the minimum score of 61 on a proctored ALEKs exam to enroll in or remain in the course. Students who do not achieve the minimum ALEKS score, even after remediation, should contact their advisor for their options. The exam can be accessed at: http://go.gwu.edu/mathplacement For additional information on the placement exam see URL below. Also register for one discussion section ECON 1011 M30-M31.
