To be able to register for ECON 1011 students must have a minimum score of 61 on the proctored ALEKS math placement exam by August 16 2024 or have taken and passed ECON 1001 with a minimum grade of C-. Students who have received credit for MATH 1221, or MATH 1231, or MATH 1252, or MATH 1232 or have the required score on an AP calculus or AP economics exam are waived from the ALEKS Math Placement test requirement. Students who do not achieve the minimum ALEKS score should contact their advisor for their options.
