About the Department

The Office of Survey Research and Analysis (SRA) serves the George Washington University by undertaking major survey research about students, faculty, and staff and by coordinating the development, distribution, and analysis of these results. SRA conducts social research and analysis to support accreditation requirements, academic program reviews, and to establish and verify benchmarks. SRA works with other units and faculty in planning and conducting assessments of programs and courses. In addition, SRA is committed to experiential learning by hiring and training undergraduate and graduate students to work on current research projects.
