The Spring World Bank/International Monetary Fund (IMF) meetings will be held in Washington, D.C., Friday, April 15, through Sunday, April 17. This information should help you navigate the Foggy Bottom area during that period. It is based on information that is current today.
Friday, April 15: The bicycle riding activist group called "Critical Mass" will demonstrate at Dupont Circle at 5:00 p.m. Past demonstrations by this group have involved riding their bikes in such a manner as to obstruct traffic. Use alternate routes to avoid the demonstration.
Saturday, April 16: From 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., demonstrators will meet in North Murrow Park (18th Street between Eye Street and Pennsylvania Ave.) and march to Dupont Circle (staying north of Pennsylvania Ave. throughout).
Sunday, April 17: No demonstration activities are expected on Sunday.
**Carry your GWorld identification card at all times. DO NOT lend your GWorld card to other people, including other students.
Please report any unusual activity or objects out of place to the University Police Department at (202) 994-6111.
